Why to choose an Au Pair from Latvia?
- Hard-working. Our winters are cold, for 6 months of the year it is actually snowing or raining here. However, winners have to think ahead and be prepared for both easy and hard times. We are good at planning and improvising as well.
- Open-minded. The landscape is flat in Latvia, so we look far, we look wide and we don't like our vision to be hampered by anything closer than the horizon. We don't always smile but when we do, it comes from the heart!
- Cooking enthusiasts. Cooking at home is very common in Latvia and we say almost nothing about it just because we have learned that it is not polite to speak with a full mouth. Food is to be enjoyed - not to be discussed.

Child Care Experience
From January 2024 to March 2025, I took care of Dulce (6) and Sara (4) for six hours, one day per week. I helped with homework and watched a series or a movie with the children. From November 2022 to March 2023, I took care of Luciana (8 months) for five hours, three days per week. I prepared bottles, changed diapers, gave baths and put the child to sleep. From February 2022 to April 2023, I took care of Juan (7) for eleven hours every Saturday. I accompanied the child to soccer lessons, prepared lunch, helped with homework, played and accompanied the child to the pool. From November 2021 to January 2022, I took care of Salmoe (4). *First-Aid Certified* I want to become an au pair because I am really fond of traveling and discovering other cultures. Since I was teenager, I am fascinated by the US not just because of the landscapes and all but mostly because I want to know the American culture even more by being immersed in it. But not only I like cultural exchanges but I am also a qualified child care. I have my BAFA, a French childcare diploma, and was a Girl Scout leader for several years. I've always dreamed of traveling to the USA, exploring new places, and having new experiences. When I found out through a friend that I could travel to the USA while working with children, I immediately started researching it.
