From March 2023 to August 2024, I occasionally took care of Kayla (4 months). I prepared meals, changed diapers, changed clothes, did light house chores, played learning activities, kept the child entertained and put the child down for naps. From June 2022 to August 2023, I took care of Zaxiwe (5) and Lathita (8) during school holidays. I did arts and crafts, played learning activities, played games, did outdoor activities, prepared meals, gave baths, assisted with the children getting dressed and kept the children entertained.

Child Care Experience
From March 2023 to March 2025, I worked at Hacienda Coloma with children from 1 to 15 years of age, for three hours, Monday to Saturday. I worked as a guide for groups of students and families looking to explore the world of coffee. From May 2024 to July 2024, I worked at Happy Park with children from 1 to 10 years of age, for four hours, Tuesday to Friday. I welcomed the families and explained the rules of the park, supervised and ensured the children's safety, prepared drinks and snacks, accompanied the children inside the park, played and created and developed parties and special events for children. From January to February 2024, I helped out in High Kindergarten with children from 1 to 5 years of age. I escorted children to the bathroom and ensured their personal hygiene, prepared and served meals and snacks and designed recreational and cognitive developmental activities. From September to December 2023, I took care of Martin (1) and Kyliam (4) for four hours, Monday to Friday. I dropped off and picked up from nursery school, prepared healthy and nutritious snacks, helped with homework and school activities and got the children ready for bed.

I want to be an Au Pair because I absolutely love the innocence and wonder with which children see the world. One of my strongest skills is creating fun and engaging moments for children. I studied Animation and Recreation and have experience working with children aged 2 to 13 in a variety of settings, so I'm comfortable adapting to different environments and needs. I'm also a strong swimmer and a confident driver, which comes in handy during outings and ensuring everyone's safety. I'm passionate about working with children. I love spending time with them, sharing important moments, being part of their learning journey and giving them lots of love. I have a lot of experience with them, especially with toddlers and babies. I can create games or activities for them because I'm used to it and having done art, I have a lot of imagination and I can do a lot of creative workshops and teach them a lot of artistic things. Lastly, I worked at an at-home daycare with kids ages 3 months to 5 years old from March 2021 to March 2025. My responsibilities included helping with meals, going on outings to the park, changing diapers, feeding them, putting them down for a nap, going on walks with the kids, playing games, and reading to them.

I want to be an AuPair first of all because I love children and look after them regularly. I could teach your kids many things, first of all French! I also love baking and could teach your kids how to make raspberry cookies. I would like to be like a big sister for my future host kids. I am really excited about this experience and to share great moments with my future family.

I looked after my younger siblings ages 10mths to 9 years old from January to April 2025. I assisted with teaching, supervised in- and outdoor activities, helped with dressing and feeding, and tidied up the classroom. Finally, I babysat Faith (5) and Luis (2) from January to June 2024.

I want to become an AuPair because discovering the world and experiencing new cultures has always been my dream. The idea of finding a “second family” truly motivates me. I believe I am a strong candidate to care for children. Growing up with two younger sisters, aged 15 and 5, I have always been accustomed to looking after kids. This experience has made me responsible, patient, and attentive to their needs. Joining the EurAupair program would allow me to share my own culture while learning from my host family, all while providing loving and reliable childcare.

From July 8th to July 19th, 2024, I took care of a group of children from 3 to 5 years of age. I exercised with the children, taught, assisted with showers, did activities, provided water and watched the children during nap time. From July 23rd to August 6th, 2024, i took care of a group of children from 4 to 6 years of age. I helped with homework, colored pictures, counted numbers, organized activities, exercised and played with the children. From May 6th to May 31st, 2024, I took care of Nithe (2 months). I prepared milk, gave baths, played and put the baby down for naps.

In 2023, I had the opportunity to join a work-and-travel program in the US. I’m a housekeeper. I often meet guests who come to stay. Most of them come as families. I have the opportunity to talk with them, which makes me happy every time because I feel like I can exchange ideas and experience cultural perspectives from them. I think this is a good opportunity to join the Au-Pair exchange program. I can apply the experience that I learnt from school to take care of children. And I thought it would be great if I could be a part of the happiness in the family. From my strength I'm a very down-to-earth, considerate, enthusiastic, honest, sociable, and adaptable person.
