The reasons why I want to go to the United State of America as an Au Pair is because I would like to go exploring and experiencing new things overseas. I would love to learn more about the way of life in America, as well as diversity in cultures. Most importantly, it would be great opportunity to spend an entire year taking care or caring for children, seeing them growing up and developing themselves. From over 1,000 hours of childcare experience, that made me understand children of different ages, be patient, clam, able to adapt or cope with unexpected situations.

From February 2022 to present, I work in a preschool with children from 1-5 years of age. I am responsible for the learning activities, outdoor activities and arts and crafts, prepare meals, help with potty training, change diapers, and help get the children dresses. From March to July 2022, I took care of Josue (2) for 5 hours a day. I prepared food, changed diapers, played, did teaching activities and put him to bed. From July to December 2022, I took care of Jeronimo (6) for 4 hours a day. I picked up from school, prepared food, learning activities, games and crafts.

I would like to be an Au Pair because I want to interact and get to know American culture and I can do what I like the most, which is to accompany the children in their discovery through life, study and travel. I believe are of great importance the way of acting with children in addition to being that person with whom they feel safe to be able to express themselves and at the same time we with them to be that guide and companion so that they discover and develop in total communion with themselves and with the environment that surrounds them. I think I have these skills because I have worked with children for a long time and also because of my career I think I can provide strengths for the child's daily life. I was a party recreator and entertainer, park caretaker and I was in charge to fed them and give them snacks. From January 2021 to September 2023, I cared for Victoria (11). From August 2021 to August 2023, I cared for Maximo (9 months) and Luciano (3). I took care of them, we played together, I gave them food and I put them in bed for their naps.

I have loved children since I was young. I would like to be a part of their lives that is related to their good development. I really happy when I took care of them and then saw they had good development and good behavior. I decided to become an Au Pair, because I enjoy spending time with children and I am able to ensure their well-being. Their emotional, physical and mental health are the most important to me. I really love when children learn quickly and teach us, for this reason, I enjoy doing creative and educational activities. One of my dreams is to come close with kids for a year and ensure they feel cherished and secure with my presence and see how they will grow up with all the things I will teach them. One additional reason for me to be abroad is to have the opportunity of learning about a different culture, and to have the chance of improving my English skills. It would be amazing to know how is the snow and build a snowman! It was my childhood dream, besides I'd love to visit different iconic places in the USA.
