From 01/2021 to 01/2025 I cared for children ages 3 to 5 for 2 hours a day. We would do indoor activities such as coloring, drawing, singing, reading stories, feeding and helping with childcare. From 10/2024 to 12/2024 I cared for Sebastian (5) and Ximena (11) for 5 hours a day, 5 days a week. When I was in junior high school, a foreign teacher from the United States told us how fascinating the world abroad could be. He encouraged me to visit his home country and learn more if I ever had the opportunity. Since I’ve been learning English since childhood, I’ve always been curious about what America is really like, whether it’s as free and democratic as we read in our textbooks. As the eldest of a large and blended family, I helped raise my siblings, which taught me patience, kindness, and responsibility.
