**Mayelin would like to care for children ages 1 year and older** From October 2015 to February 2019, I cared for Noely (5). I prepared her meals, bathed her, did her laundry and planned activities. From July 2016 to January 2020, I cared for Isai and Darielis (1 year old twins). I prepared their meals, bathed them, did their laundry and did activities with them. From October 2021 to February 2022, I cared for a group of children between 4 and 13 years old. I cared for them when they were sick, drove them and supervised their chores. From January to April 2023, I cared for Eidan (4). I prepared his meals, bathed him, did his laundry and supervised him.

I want to become an Au Pair because teaching kids is definitely one of the most gratifying things I have ever done, it's incredible the way you can impact in positive ways in the kids lives, I enjoy spending time with children, and I know the responsibilities of caring for kids and I have the mindset, capacity, patience for do that.

I babysat Alayah (8mths) from June 2018 to December 2019. I changed diapers, prepared bottles, dressed her, comber her hair, put her down for naps, taught her words and how to crawl and walk. I babysat Darelin (15), Darilenny (12) and Darian (10) from June 2020 to July 2024. I prepared meals, played with them and took them out to do recreational activities. I babysat Dinashley (6) from November 2023 to May 2024. I combed her hair, helped with chores, and did activities with her. Lastly, I looked after Felix (14) form February to May 2022. I played video games with him, rode biked and played parcheesi with him.

I want to participate in the Aupair exchange program in the USA because it's an unique opportunity to expand my horizons, learn about a new culture and contribute positively to the well-being of an American family. I babysat Sofia (6mths) and Lucas (4) from February 2016 and July 2018. I cleaned after the children, prepared meals, fed and bathed them, helped the older with homework and played with them. I babysat Evan (infant), Eivy (3) and Evony (11) from September 2019 to November 2020. I was a living-in nanny for the family helping with meal preparation, cleaning up, supervising the children and doing fun activities with them. Finally, I babysat Lucas (1) and Emmanuel (3) from June 2021 to March 2022. I supervised them, prepared meals, helped with homework and bathed them.

I decided to be an au pair because of my love for children and for me it is the best way to improve my English. It is a great opportunity and I want to take advantage of it to study and get to know other cultures and new people. I have many dreams and goals that this program can help me cross off my list. From May 2020 to July 2021, I cared for Junior (2 months). I fed him, changed his diapers and bathed him. I ensured the child' safety during play and exploration. I provided educational and recreational activities. I created a schedule for sleeping, eating, and playing. I taught basic skills like dressing and potty training. I also updated the parents on the child's progress and needs. From December 2022 to August 2024, I cared for Jeily (2). I fed her, changed her diapers and bathed her. I ensured the child' safety during play and exploration. I provided activities that promote sensory and motor development. I created a schedule for sleeping, eating, and playing. I also updated the parents on the child's progress and needs. Additionally, I cared for Jonley from May 2018 to September 2019. I helped with homework, assisted with school assignments, organized games and recreational activities. I prepared healthy meals, encouraged life skills and I kept the parents updated on the child's well-being.

I woke him up, bathed him, prepared meals, played with him and supervised him while he watched television.

I want to be an au pair because, I like to spend time with children, I want to learn them and they from me, learn their culture just like they do mine, learn more about the language, meet new people develop as a person and in addition to that live the experience of sharing and living with American family. Besides, I like to spend time with children. I like the development they provide because at the moment you are sad, this makes you smile and changes your day. I am also very happy to be able to participate in this program.

From 07/2022 to 07/2023 I cared for Jeilyn (6) for 4 hours a day, 5 days a week. I would assist with painting, bathing, helping with housework and prparing meals. From 01/2023 to 08/2023 I cared for Aysha (7) for 4 hours a day, 5 days a week. I was responsible for bathing her, making breakfast, taking her to school, and helping her fix her backpack. From 01/2024 to 08/2024 I cared for Wascar (8 months) for 5 hours a day, 3 days a week. I would wash the clothes, prepare milk and food, entertain her, change her, and put her to sleep

In my free time I love to cook, for me cooking is very relaxing, I also like to teach my niece to make sweet things and cook with my mom to learn more, I like to go to the park to play with my niece and my boss's son, in the moments that I want to relax I read books, I like books of overcoming, action and romance.  My favorite sports are soccer and volleyball.  I love everything that has to do with soccer, be it watching it, playing it or teaching it. I am a soccer coach, but I would like to have more knowledge to be a better coach and player.

From August 2017 to March 2019, I cared for Nashla (8 months). I fed her, changed her diapers, gave her medicine when she was sick. I played with her, organized her room and I did some house roles like do the dishes, mop the floor etc. From June 2020 to November 2021, I cared for Roldan (9 months). I prepared his meals, changes his clothes and diapers, I gave him food, played with him and kept him clean. From May 2023 to February 2024, I cared for Amy (9 months). I took care of her, fed her, changed diapers and gave her medicine when she was sick. I also did everything related to cleaning.

I would like to participate in this program because I would like to improve my English, have new experiences in a different country from mine, to know about different culture, meet new places also new people and I think the main reason would be because I really like what I will do there. I consider that I'm qualified to do the program because I have the required experience and above all, I'm a responsible, honest and completely dedicated to all what I do.

Child Care Experience

I cared for Yahir (3 months) from October 2023 to May 2024. I was helping with feeding, changing diapers, and putting the baby to sleep. I also played and interacted with the baby to support early development. From October 2023 to May 2024, I cared for a group of children aged between 3 months and1 years old. My responsibilities included: to prepare milk the bottles, to bath them, to administer medication (if necessary), to change diapers and clothes, to put them to sleep.. I cared also for Allison (3) from June 2015 to August 2016. I was helping with feeding, dressing, and bathing her, managed daily routines and ensured she followed a consistent schedule, and I played with her.
