Child Care Experience
From 09/2023 to 10/2023 I cared for Mariangel (1) on a weekly basis. I would change her diaper, prepare her food, feed her, paint, draw, play with her, pick up toys, sometimes I put on children's programs to entertain her, organize the kitchen and put her to bed to fall asleep. From 09/2023 to 10/2023 I cared for Agustin (6 months) on a weekly basis. I was responsible for changing his diapers, preparing his food, feeding him and picking up his toys, organizing the kitchen, bathing him, dressing him and playing children's programs. From 02/2022 to 12/2022 I worked at a daycare center for children ages 9 months to 5 on a weekly basis. I was responsible for feeding, changing diapers, preparing bottles for the little ones, organizing the children's spaces and the kitchen, playing with them and participating in fun and learning activities for them.

I have always had a great connection with children, because of this I see a great opportunity to be part of an Au pair family as it allows me to progress in my English for my personal, educational and work future and at the same time to be able to do something that I am passionate about, while getting to know part of the American life. I took care of Gabbi and Adam, ages 4 and 2 years, from January 2024, ongoing. I coached a girls’ basketball team from August 12, 2022, to May 2023. I planned and executed practices for the team. I also took care of children at a youth center from April 2015 to June 2018, I worked with children ages 5 to 15 years old. My responsibilities included caring for the children, coming up with fun activities, keeping everything in order, and ensuring everyone felt included. I also took care of Isak and Noel, ages 7 and 4, from April 2015 to June 2018. I played with them, took them to the playground, played sports, and had fun together.

I want to become an AuPair because it's something I’ve always been interested in. It offers the unique opportunity to immerse myself in a new culture, build lasting relationships, and gain valuable experience working with children. I have always enjoyed spending time with kids, whether it's helping them with homework, playing games, or simply being a role model. Becoming an au pair in the U.S. is a dream opportunity for me, combining adventure, cultural exchange, personal growth, and working with children. I volunteered at a children's foundation from July to September 2024 taking care of children ages 3 years old and under, including newborns. I played with the children, helped with feeding them, and assisted the teacher with different activities. I looked after Jimmy (7) from April to August 2022. I helped with homework, played with him and fed him. Finally, I babysat Sebastian (1) from February 2020 to March 2021. I fed and bathed him, entertained and played with him.

Traveling abroad has always been a dream of mine. When I discovered the Au Pair program, it seemed perfect because it combined two things I love: spending time with children and traveling. It's also a great opportunity to improve my English, and what could be better than experiencing American culture from within an American family. I consider patience, responsibility, empathy, and organization to be my main strengths. I think they will be very useful for contributing to their development and fulfilling my role as an Au Pair. I looked after Sophie (6), Clemens (8) and Valentin (11) from June to August 2023. My responsibilities included playing with the children and planning for their activities. I've looked after Noah (9) since January 2022. I play with him and do different outdoor activities with him. I taught horseback riding in April 2023 to children ages 6 to 16 years old. The main reason [I want to become an au pair] is that I love working with children, looking after them and doing things with them, this is a lot of fun for me. From January 2021 to December 2021, I took care of a group of children aged 1 to 2 years. My duties included playing with them, giving them snacks, changing their diapers, and dressing them.
