Child Care Experience
I babysat Isabela (1) from June 2-23 to March 2024. I did different activities with her such as coloring, painting and drawing, I changed diapers, fed her, and put her down for naps. I looked after Samantha (5) from February to July 2023. I helped with homework, took her to the park to play, and helped her with nighttime routine. I babysat Juan (3) from February to November 2022. I picked him up from school, helped with homework, fed him, and took him to ride bikes to scooter.

I want to be an au pair because with children I can exploit my creativity and my imagination in every activity we do, it is nice that a child gives you the confidence to show you their passions and help them solve each challenge so they can shape their character, emotions and personalities in the best way. I have experience with children of different ages, and I have been able to learn how to handle difficult situations. Likewise, I have also taught groups of children with games where they develop great skills. This has helped me to be more mature and empathetic, in addition to knowing that children are growing, so we must be patient and lovely with them. From September 2023 to February 2024, I cared for Emmanuel (1). I gave him food, made his bottle, changed his diaper, bathed and dressed him, played with him, played children's songs. From January to June 2021, I cared for Julieta (5). My responsibilities included: to take care of her, take her to from the school, prepare her food, do housework, help with her homework, play with her for a while or take her to the park, do entertainment activities with her. From July to October 2021, I cared for Mariangel (5). My duties included: taking care of her, making her food and giving it to her, helping her with her homework, teaching her new things, playing with her, taking her to the park for a while. From December 2021 to March 2022, I cared for Marilyn (4). I prepared food and gave it to her; I bathed her and took her to the school. I helped with her homework, we played together, and I did the shores.

I feel that I am capable of achieving everything I set out to do, I always been a very responsible person, kind and above all very affectionate and loving with children. I am creative, honest, active and flexible to any changes. I have always been very proactive and hard-working. I want to be an Au Pair because I love children and working with them. I really want to teach them things about my country and my culture; and also learn the same about your country. I think this is the perfect program that includes all of that. I would like to be like a big sister to my host children, and since I am already one of my family, I have the necessary skills to be one for them. Because it is one of the best experiences of my life to learn and grow. I enjoy being with children and spending time with them. It’s made me delightful. Anyway, I want to get better at English and discover different cultures. Make new acquaintances and go to new locations. So I decided to join the au pair program in the United States. My strengths are determination and responsibility towards my duties. For example, a few months before I graduated, I had an internship as a housekeeper at a hotel in Phuket for three months. It was a rough time for me, but I worked hard, persevered, and did it well.
