Child Care Experience
From 03/2019 to 04/2020 I cared for Salome (1) for 5 hours a day, 5 days a week. My activities with her consisted of waking up the girl, bathe her, comb her change his diaper, make and give him breakfast, prepare his snack, order his toys, give him lunch, among other things. From 05/2019 to 06/2020 I cared for Sara (12) and Jeronimo (6 months) for 3 hours a day, 7 days a week. My activities with them consisted of feeding him, playing with them, organizing spaces and toys, teaching him to go to the bathroom, etc. From 06/2021 to 09/2021 I cared for Samara (4) for 5 hours a day, 5 days a week. My activities consisted of picking up the kindergarten girl, helping her change her uniform, feeding her , play with her, etc. From 02/2023 to 03/2024 I cared for Aron (7 months) for 4 hours a day, 5 days a week. I helped with the preparation of his meals, with his personal presentation and I took him to the park in the afternoon to play.

I have always been great with kids. Every place I visited, if there was a kid, we became best friends. I have a natural ability to create meaningful connections with them. Listening to their interests, their curious way to see the world and occurrences seems to me like an opportunity to reconnect with the simplicity of things. Through stories, games, crafts, and songs, I reconnect with my most human, playful, and artistic side, and I think that's beautiful because sometimes the answers to adult life are there. Also, I love to meet different people and learn about cultures, traditions, languages, and idiosyncrasies as much as I enjoy share mine. I truly believe that: sharing is caring. I have been caring for Kieke (1) since February 2024. My duties include changing diapers, feeding, playing learning activities, assisting with arts and crafts activities, reading, supervising playtime and playing games. I have always had a passion for looking after children, which is why I want to become an Au Pair. Since I was a little girl, I have dreamed of becoming a teacher, but I decided to pursue Au Pairing first. My goal for this experience is to develop as a person, learn a new language, immerse myself in different cultures and teach my host children new things. America has always been my top choice. I have always been intrigued by the American culture, and I believe that Au Pairing in America would be a wise decision. From May 2019 to December 2020, I took care of Diego (13) for two hours twice a week. I prepared food, taught math, read comics, bike rides, playground and outdoor play. From April to May 2018, helped out at Instituto Colombiano Del Bienestar Familiar with children from 2 to 5 years old. I prepared meals and snacks, helped with school chores and played games with the children. From February 2017 to February 2028, I took care of Juan (6) on Thursdays for six hours. I took child to museums and libraries, did handcrafts, painting, drawing, laundry and reading.
