Child Care Experience
From August 2023 to August 2024, I helped out as an assistant in a daycare center with a group of 10 children from 3 to 4 years of age, for four hours a day. I supervised the children, cared for and did chores with the children. From January to July 2024, I took care of a group of children from 3 to 4 years of age as a substitute teacher. I gave the children lunch, took the children to the restroom and helped with school activities. From September 2021 to June 2024, I took care of a group of 20 children from 3 months to 5 years of age. I supervised, taught the children writing, shapes, colors, numbers, animals and more, did fun activities, read stories, sang songs, painted, made crafts and played with the children. From May 2019 to April 2021, I took care of Rowert (2). I prepared food, played, gave baths, prepared milk, did activities, taught the child to walk, prepared snacks and put the child down to sleep.

I want to be an au pair because it is an amazing opportunity to improve my English, visit another country, get to know another country and other cultures, work with children which is something I love and this program allows me to do all of this. I consider myself capable of participating in the program because I have several requirements that this one asks for and because I have experience in childcare. From September 2023 to July 2024, I took care of Gabriel (12) for six hours on the weekends. I took child to soccer practice, prepare snacks and played video games. From June to November 2021, I took care of Luciana (4), Monday to Friday, for three hours. I played, prepared snacks and taught basic things like vowels. From September to November 2018, I took care of Juan (1), for six hours on Saturdays. I gave baths, prepared breakfast, played, did activities and prepared lunch. I want to be an Au Pair because I cherish the opportunity to live in a family environment, where I can build meaningful relationships with both children and their parents. I consider myself qualified for this role because I have experience working with children and hold certificates in Child Development. I feel qualified because I really like to stay among kids and try to learn from them as well grow with them. Thanks to the experiences I had in babysitting I could noticed that I'm very patient , responsible and creative with them. Taking care of children requires certain skills such as creativity, responsibility, attention, honesty and I identify with these qualities, I can generate confidence so that they exploit their potential, their creativity, since at their age they can learn many things and develop many more virtues, I can teach them my culture as well as I can learn theirs.

I would like to be a big sister for your kids. I want to share our cultures as well as holidays with my host family. I want to discover a new country and new culture. I have a diploma in early childhood and have worked in various nurseries, schools and afterschool programs. I've volunteered with children with cancer and even organized a board game drive. I prepared her bottle, did stimulation exercises, changed her diaper and I cuddle her until she fell asleep. Additionally, from January to June 2024, I cared for Alanna (3 months). I did different games of self-discovery, I prepared her baby bottle and bathed her, I dressed her up, changed her diapers and cuddle her until she fall asleep for a nap.

I would like to become an au pair to discover a new country and a new culture than mine by living with an American family. I want to be able to take care of a child, love them and watch them grow.
