I babysat Salome (10mths) from January to September 2021. I picked her up from preschool, changed diapers, dressed her, took her to the park and played with her. I babysat Samuel (4) from December 2021 to April 2022. I played with him, taught him colors and numbers, did different activities with him and gave him snacks. Finally, I babysat Juliana (2) from January 2023 to May 2024 on Sundays. I woke her up, bathed her, fed her, played with her, did fun activities with her, and put her down for naps.

I decided to become an Au Pair because I love working with children and I love to teach my knowledge, I think this program is a great opportunity to learn about new cultures and experience life in another country, and also to improve my English level to open new doors in my life. One of my biggest dreams is to travel through the world, and meet different places and different cultures, and I can do that with this program. I wanted to go to countries like U.S.A, France, Spain, and others, so when I discovered this program, I saw an opportunity that I should take to make my dream come true. From March to June 2024, I took care of Astrid (13) for six hours, three days per week. I ensured the child was following a structures daily routine, prepared breakfast, got child ready for school, engaged in educational activities, accompanied child to extracurricular activities and took care of the child until the parents returned home.

I am interested in participating in this program to learn about other cultures and make mine known, meet other people. I like children and I feel more than qualified to work with them, taking care of them, teaching them about my country and culture. Teaching them values and learning hundreds of things, living the experience with them would be an honor, they would learn as much from me as I do from them.
