Child Care Experience
From January to March 2024, I occasionally took care of Lucrezia (3). I gave baths, prepared food and got her ready for bed. From May to October 2022, I took care of Sara (12), every Saturday. I helped with homework, went to the park, prepared snacks and played with the child. From September 2021 to January 2022, I took care of Rachele (12), every Saturday. I helped with homework, went to the park and prepared lunch. From February 2021 to April 2022, I took care of Livia (11) and Andrea (11), five days per week. I picked them up from school, helped with homework, prepared dinner and played with the children.

I would like to participate in the Au Pair exchange program in the United States because I am excited to immerse myself in a new culture, improve my language skills and share my passion for learning and caring for children. I've babysat Amir (2mths) and Miral (newborn) since August 2022 once a week. I play with them, change diapers, feed and bath them, put them down for naps and take them out for walks. I babysat Giacomo (1) from July to October 2022. I picked him up from school, took him to the park to play, bathed him, dressed him, and prepared meals. Lastly, I looked after Vera (7) and Alessandro (5) in July 2023. I played with them, helped around the house and prepared meals.

I really would like to become an au pair in the USA because it's been my dream since I was 15 years old when I found out the possibility to combine two of my biggest interests: children and English. I've dreamt about the USA since I was 11 years old and actually I can't put into words what are my feelings about the possibility to live one year there, I'm just really excited. Even if I know that this experience is made of ups and downs I think the time has come for me to put myself to the test. I consider myself qualified to participate in this experience since I love children, I love English (and I'd like to improve it) and I want to challenge myself. In my opinions my strengths include my determination (if I'm really interested in something I can't see anything else), my heart, my goodness and my ability to try to pursue my dreams even if there are lots of difficulties in my life.

From May 2024, I have taken care of Mayla (1) on the weekends. I play with the child, prepare food, change diapers, give baths and put her down to sleep. I would like to participate in the Au Pair program in the United States because it is an experience that I have dreamed of doing for a very long time. Travelling makes me feel good and helps me to grow up, I have travelled a lot in my life and every place I have gone to has left me with something. I also chose this experience because I really like children and I enjoy spending time with them and my family.

I want to become an au pair exchange program participant in the USA because I love working with children and experiencing new cultures. From 07/2021 to 09/2021 I cared for a group of children ages 3 to 12 every day. I stayed with them all day, we did recreational activities, we went to the beach and to the swimming pool, we had snack together. From 10/2024 to 11/2024 I cared for a group of children ages 3 to 5 for 2 to 3 times a week. I would entertain the children, make crafts together, play with them, danicing and singing. Becoming an au pair would offer me the incredible opportunity to immerse myself fully in a culture that has always fascinated me while living with an American family. I have always loved the idea of working with children while also having the opportunity to travel around the United States, as it combines two of my greatest passions. Spending time with children brings me so much joy, and I feel confident in my ability to take care of them since I already have experience in doing so.
