Child Care Experience
From 04/2017 to 12/2024 I cared for Christian (2) on occasion. We would play, draw and prepare meals. From 09/2024 to 11/2024 I cared for a group of children ages 4 to 10 for 4 hours a day on the weekends. I would supervise the children and help them during horse riding lessons. From 05/2020 to 12/2023 I cared for a group of children ages 4 to 16 for 2 hours a day, 3-4 days a week. I would assist with riding lessons, and entertain the children.

What motivates me to become an Au Pair is primarily the desire to explore and better understand who I am and what I enjoy doing, far from the reality I already know. I am excited about the opportunity to improve my English in an immersive environment and to meet new people from different cultures and backgrounds. From January to February 2024, I took care of Francesco (10), twice per week. I picked up child from school, played and helped with homework. From May to July 2023, I took care of Micol (8), twice per week. I picked up child from school, played and prepared snacks. From September to October 2022, I took care of Cristiano (12) when needed. I helped with homework and helped child prepare for tests.

I want to participate in the Au Pair program in the USA with EurAupair because I am excited about immersing myself in a new culture, improving my English language skills and experiencing a unique personal growth experience. From 02/2024 to 01/2025 I cared for Matt (5) twice a month. I was responsible for assisting him during meals , playing together, watching cartoons, preparing to go to bed (brushing teeths, reading stories, wearing his pajama..) and helping him to fall asleep. I really would like to participate to this program because I love the US and living like an American girl has been my dream for a long time. I also love children and taking care of them, I am patient, sweet, kind, friendly and I am mature in spite of my young age.

I babysat Alvise (1), Francesco (3) and Jacopo (7) from June to August 2024. I cared for the children, did fun activities with them and helped with homework. I worked at a daycare from January to July 2022 taking care of children ages 1 to 5 years old. I organized games and activities, changed diapers, fed the children and supervised them. I volunteered at a school as a youth leader from June 2017 to September 2021 taking care of children ages 6 to 14 years old. My role included supervising the children during activities, planning games, supporting their personal growth, and maintaining open communication with their parents. Lastly, I did an internship at a preschool from March to July 2022 taking care of children ages 6 months to 3 years old. I supervised the children, organized activities, changed diapers and fed the children.

I would like to participate in the Au Pair program in the United States because it is an experience that I have dreamed of doing for a very long time. Travelling makes me feel good and helps me to grow up, I have travelled a lot in my life and every place I have gone to has left me with something. I also chose this experience because I really like children and I enjoy spending time with them and my family.

I would like to become an au pair exchange program participant in the U.S. because I enjoy taking care of children, getting in touch with a new culture (which I have already come into contact with twice on short vacations in NY) and improving my English. I think I am the right person to take this path because I am patient, mature and reliable.

I embarked on this journey because I want to experience new emotions and challenges. My lifelong dream has always been to visit America, and what better way to explore it than through this incredible opportunity? I consider myself a responsible, independent, and proactive person with strong empathy and a great ability to adapt. I believe I am well-suited for this experience because I genuinely love children and enjoy spending time with them, constantly engaging in new and exciting activities. One of my greatest strengths is creativity - I can turn even the simplest things into fun and memorable experiences for myself and others. Another key strength is patience; I rarely lose my temper, but I hold myself to high standards. I always expect a lot from myself, and for me, losing patience would feel like a personal failure.
