I was taking care of children, and my responsibilities were as follows: Eles, from October 2023 to now. It depends; sometimes I work weekly, sometimes once a month. My responsibilities include changing diapers, feeding, and playing. In a kindergarten group for children ages 3 to 6 years, from September 2021 to July 2022, I worked 2 days per week, excluding school holidays. My responsibilities included care and support in various groups, childcare and play accompaniment, assistance with creative activities, help with daily routines, supervision and support during outdoor playtimes, and assistance with organizational and housekeeping tasks. In a small child kindergarten group from April 2023 to May 2023, I worked for 7 weeks, 8 hours per day. My responsibilities included assistance with creative activities, help with daily routines, dressing and undressing, and mealtime support. another experience will be in a children’s home with intensive pedagogical care, from November 2023 to December 2023, I worked for 7 weeks, 8 hours per day. My responsibilities included assisting with daily structure, everyday support, and conflict resolution. As a volunteer in life assistance and family support services for people with disabilities, I have been working since February 2022, for 2-4 hours per month. My responsibilities include personal care, leisure activities, meal assistance. Currently, at a boarding school for physically disabled individuals, I have been working since September 2024. My duties include helping with personal care, planning activities, creating and organizing schedules, providing emotional support, assisting with mobility, supporting daily routines, facilitating social interactions, offering companionship, helping with meal preparation, ensuring safety and comfort, and encouraging independence.

I've been caring for Nia (1) since July 2023. I take her to the playground and play with her. I am first aid certified. I have experience in caring for children with special needs. I cared for Emiliya every other weekend from January to June 2023. My responsibilities were preparing meals, playing with her and putting her to bed. I also cared for Lea (11), Mia (9) and Niklas (11) every other weekend for 3 months in 2023. I prepared meals and put them to bed. Between March and July 2023, I cared for Mira (10). From April 2023, I have occasionally taken care of Cataleya (1). I prepare food, play, and put child to sleep. From July to August 2023, I took care of several children from 6 to 12 years of age for a holiday program. I prepared food, played, organized group meetings and did sports with the children. From the 17th to the 28th of April 2023, I took care of several children from 2 to 6 years of age. I played with the children, talked with and taught the children.

First of all, I love travelling. When I was younger, my family and I visited a lot of German cities. We also hiked in Austria, went camping in France or sightseeing in Belgium and visited my grand-parents in Florida or explored New York. Apart from travelling, I love working with children. In the last years, I was teamleader in various holiday programs where we organized, par example treasure hunts, water games or craft sessions. Last year, I did an internship at an so-called 'early intervention centre', where we help children with specific needs. And therefore a year as an au pair seemed perfect for me.

I took care of Rieke, a 3-year-old, from April 2023 to September 2024. My responsibilities included caring for the child, preparing small snacks, and engaging in various activities. I also cared for Philipp, a 1-year-old, from October 2016 to August 2024. During this time, I prepared small snacks and meals, provided childcare, and helped with homework. Additionally, I looked after Emilia and Tessa, aged 5 and 3, from December 2019 to December 2024. I entertained them, supervised meals, and provided general care.

I would like to spend an AuPair year in the USA because I think it’s a great opportunity to discover new countries and meet new people. I really enjoy working with children, and being able to make them laugh through activities, for example, excites me. Helping them on their path in life and supporting them with homework or other everyday tasks is a rewarding experience that I enjoy and want to continue having. I took care of Henry Boegel, who is 13 years old, from October 2022 to December 2023. I tutored him in math, and we studied together before his exams. I volunteered for a reading project with children aged 7-9 from August 2020 to February 2022. We read books together in a group of 6 to 10 children. Afterward, we crafted or played games related to the stories. I take care of Mia Meyer, who is 5 years old, from January 2024 until now. Mia is my cousin’s daughter, and occasionally, I babysit her. We play with Barbies, have dance sessions in the living room, or cook together. I am involved with an altar server group for children aged 7-15, from May 2022 until now. In the group meetings, we play games or do crafts. In the summer, we go out for ice cream together and bake together in the winter. Sometimes, we practice together in the church for church services. I also work as a supervisor at an autumn holiday camp for children aged 7-15, from October 2023 to October 2024. I am responsible for taking care of the children and organizing various activities before the camp. We all eat together, and I take care of sick children.

I would like to join the Au Pair program in the USA because it has always been my dream to live in the United States. I also want to improve my English, get to know a new culture, and spend a lot of time with children. I enjoy working with children very much. I am responsible, patient, and creative. I worked at a daycare center from December 2024 to February 2025 taking care of children ages 2 to 6 years old. I played with the children, read books to them, assisted with different tasks, helped them get along, and organized their play area. I've babysat Leon (4) since May 2023. I play with him, assist him with difficult tasks, go for walks and spend time in the garden, and tidy up his toys. Lastly, I babysat Hannes (1) form May to October 2024. I prepared meals, fed him, played with him, visited playgrounds, engaged in creative activities, and cleaned up after him.

Becoming an au pair has been my dream, inspired by my fascination with American culture and my passion for working with children. From 12/2022 to 03/2023 I cared for Annabell (16) 3 times a week. I was her math tutor. In October 2024 I spent 5 days caring for child ages 1 to 7. I would support with everyday tasks in the daycare center, help the children to learn how to eat, do creative activities with the children. Applying to become an au pair in the USA is exciting to me because I’m passionate about cultural exchange and love working with children. Its a great opportunity for me to immerse myself in American culture and share my own cultural background. From an early age, my parents taught me to appreciate and respect different cultures and perspectives. In my work in the HR department of a company, I am in daily contact with colleagues from various countries and cultures, which helps me to further develop these skills. My previous supervisors and the families I have worked with know me as a person they can rely on. Even as a child, I was given responsibility for animals such as dogs, rabbits, and even ponies—with, of course, the support of my parents in the background.
