We have the legal designation from the U.S. Department of State and the experience to help you find the right au pair for your family. We place au pairs from five different continents now, but European au pairs remain at the heart of our program.
All of our au pairs we place in the U.S. speak English, but for many, it is not their native language. Immersion in an English-speaking culture improves their language skills, although EurAupair screens au pairs to be sure their level of English is appropriate and will allow them to be functional on their very first day in the U.S. Our objective evaluation of the au pair’s English is provided to you as part of their application package, and you get a chance to interview your au pair prior to placing with her in order to ensure her English level matches your expectations.

From 02/2022 to 01/2025 I cared for Souayden (1) on occasion. My responsibilities included: feeding him, going for a walk, playing together, overseeing nap time, and bathing him. From 07/2021 to 08/2022 I cared for children ages 3 to 11 for 35 hours a week. My responsibilities included: driving the van to take them to the pool, supervising them during the pool and lake outings, taking care of sun protection, caps, armbands if necessary, supervision during nap, helping with meals, giving snacks, and doing indoor or outdoor activities. From 06/2022 to 06/2025 I cared for Nisan (1) on occasion. My responsibilities included: changing his diaper, giving him his meals, having fun with him, taking him to the park. From 06/2017 to 12/2017 I cared for Yanis (3) and Sohan (4) on occasion. My responsibilities included: putting them to bed, feeding them and doing activities together.

I want to become an au pair in the USA to improve my English and experience American culture. I love working with children, and this program is a great opportunity to learn while doing what I enjoy. I have completed internships in a daycare and preschool. I also have my BAFA (childcare diploma), have worked in holiday camps, and done babysitting. Between July and August 2024, I took care of Félicité (14 years old), Valentin (12), Théodore (10), Margot (8), Madeleine (4), Gaspard (3), and Éline (2). My responsibilities included putting the two youngest children down for naps, playing with the others on the trampoline, organizing board games, reading stories, cooking, making slime, giving the baby a bottle when he woke up, and changing diapers. From January 2023 to March 2025, I regularly cared for Luna (3 years old) and Mathia (7). My responsibilities included playing with them, changing the little one’s diaper, feeding them, managing the evening routine (brushing teeth and showering), and putting them to bed. From September 2023 to May 2025, I also looked after Céleste, from the age of 1 to 3 years old. During this time, I played with her, supervised her activities, fed her, and read bedtime stories.

What I love most when I’m with children is doing creative activities, playing board games, or going to the park. I love these kinds of activities because they allow children to express themselves, bring us closer together, and when I do things they enjoy, it makes me happy. I was lucky to take part in a humanitarian trip to Togo with my class, where we helped renovate a school and visited an orphanage. For me, this is something that is close to my heart, and I look forward to passing it on in the future. I also did an internship in a nursery.

I took care of Kelys (7 years old) from June 2024 to August 2024. My responsibilities included watching over him while he played sports in the backyard, having snacks at 4 p.m., driving him around when necessary, playing the PS4 with him, and making sure he showered and cleaned his room. I also looked after Raphaël (9 years old) and Virgile (3 years old) from May 2025 to July 2025. I picked them up from school, supervised them at the park and on the way home, bathed the younger child and ensured the older one showered, prepared their dinner, and supervised the meal. On some evenings, I stayed later to put them to bed and watched over them until their parents returned. From February 2025 to May 2025, I took care of Emmy (7 to 8 years old) and Maïly (5 to 6 years old). My responsibilities included baking cakes with them (as no processed sweets were allowed at home), supervising their playtime, suggesting new activities, and taking them to the park.

After being a baby-sitter and remembering all the good times with my nephew, the au pair program is perfect to me. Since I was little, I have always dreamed of going to the United States. I've always had this thing for traveling, discovering new places, new cultures, meeting different people. I love children, I thought to myself: why not combine the two? I am a cheerful person, always in a good mood, very attentive, and I adapt easily. I have a deep passion for American culture, particularly its language, music, appeal, and landscapes. Caring for children aged 4 to 13 has strengthened my commitment to their well-being and education. I've introduced children to various activities, such as new sports, music genres, cuisines… My top priority has always been children's safety, and I've developed conflict resolution skills.
