I would like to be an Au pair because it is an incredible experience. I love children and always enjoy spending time and playing with them. I think this program is an incredible opportunity to meet new people and have new experiences doing what you love most, which is taking care of children. I am first aid certified. I babysat Emiliano (6mths) from June 2021 to July 2023. I bathed him, changed diapers, bottle fed him, burped him, dressed him, put him in a stroller and went for a walk with him and played with him. I looked after Maria (13) from April to August 2022. I helped with homework, took her to and from school, played with her, watched movies with her and took her to the park. I babysat Joaquin (4) from August to December 2023. I have always liked children, they are very resourceful, and we can learn things with them through new and beautiful moments together, I like to enjoy quality time with them, to be able to teach them part of my knowledge and also learn from them. From February to November 2020 , I cared for Lina (4), Paula (6) and Yuliany (9). My responsibilities included: giving their lunch and snacks, playing board games with them, doing homework from school and making crafts, but one of the activities I enjoyed the most was making pancakes with them. From June 2020 to June 2021, I cared for Ashley (2) and Valeria (8). I gave them dinner, I bathed to them, played with them, taught them new things like writing, reading, painting, dancing. I also put them to sleep. From July 2022 to February 2023, I cared for Shara (7). I prepared her breakfast; I helped her with her school homework. In our spare time we did crafts and also we went to play to the playground. From February to July 2024, I cared for Nicolas (newborn). I was bathing and getting him ready, changing diapers and preparing his snacks, take care of nap time, spending time playing and teaching.

Growing up in Colombia has given me a deep appreciation for my culture and language, which I want to share with my future host family. From August 2021 to September 2022, I cared for Isabela (5), 6h/month for 1 Year. My responsibilities included helping her with homework, making sure she took a bath, supervising her, cooking for her, helping her choose what to wear, combing her hair, and doing entertainment activities with her. From August 2016 to August 2019, I cared for children in school, aged between 6-7 years, 5 days/week, 8 hours. My responsibilities included organizing their belongings, managing morning routines, organizing outdoor activities in the park for recreation, and helping with tasks in their notebooks to support their development in the classroom. I also received complaints and suggestions from the parents. From January 2021 to November 2024, I care for children in school aged between 3M-6 years old. I help at my mother’s daycare on my days off and on Saturdays, where my tasks include taking care of babies from 3 months to 3 years. This involves preparing formula, changing diapers, bathing them, dressing them, and putting them down for a nap. For older children, ages 3 to 6 years, I serve breakfast, assist with their daily routine, accompany them to the bathroom, and help with dressing.

I would like to become an au pair because I think it is an experience that could be unforgettable. I love taking care of children and playing with them. I have always been very interested in learning from children, I love to share activities with them because they always teach you even though they do not have a higher education and what I mean is that they show you how to be a person with their kindness and affection.
