From January 2016, I have occasionally taken care of Anshweer (5), Harveen (8) and Gurleen (10). I play, prepare meals, take the children to the park and changed diapers when they were younger. From February 2022 to November 2024, I occasionally took care of Khadija (5). I helped with homework, played and prepared snacks. Child Care Experience
I cared of Kaila (6) from August 2023 to April 2024, 5 days a week. I was feeding and caring for the child daily, educating them, becoming the best playmate, and helping with household tasks. From March 2024 to September 2024, I took care of Alaia (1). I feed him, change diapers as needed, give him a bath when necessary, and keep the baby safe, happy, and excited. From August 2023 to April 2024, I cared of Ian (4). I had to pick him up in the garden, feed him, take him to sleep, and help him with his schoolwork. From February 2019 to March 2020, I worked for a kinder garden. My responsibilities were to create a safe and welcoming environment for children, organize educational and recreational activities that stimulate their creativity and learning, provide emotional and affectionate support to the little ones, promoting their self-esteem and confidence, and maintain the cleanliness and order of the garden, creating a pleasant and safe space.

There are many reasons why I made the decision to participate in an exchange program like this, to be an au pair. Participating as an Au Pair will provide me with an invaluable experience as I will spend my time with children in their daily lives in an enriching and supportive environment for their growth and development, where I will share with them my experiences, my culture, they will have my support and the love that will not only be for them but also for this wonderful family that will welcome me into their home where we will share the best moments and they will teach me about this great country and its great American culture. In my free time I love to cook, for me cooking is very relaxing, I also like to teach my niece to make sweet things and cook with my mom to learn more, I like to go to the park to play with my niece and my boss's son, in the moments that I want to relax I read books, I like books of overcoming, action and romance. My favorite sports are soccer and volleyball. I love everything that has to do with soccer, be it watching it, playing it or teaching it. I am a soccer coach, but I would like to have more knowledge to be a better coach and player.

I always dreamed of taking a gap year in the USA after school. For a few years now I had the idea of becoming an AuPair. I think it is a great option for me, because I love children and can live in a different country with the comfort of a family around me. I feel like what would make me a good AuPair is, for one my passion when it comes to children. I always have so much fun with them and it warms my heart, when I make them laugh or they can learn something from me. For second, a great quality of mine is definitely my patience. When it comes to children it often doesn’t work the way you wanted it to, because children don’t always act as you wish. It is very important in those situations to keep calm and don’t put any pressure on the children or on yourself.
